Claudia is an MD/PhD student in the Genetics and Epigenetics graduate group. She grew up in the Bay Area of California where she got her bachelor’s degree in Molecular and Cell Biology from UC Berkeley in 2014. After graduating, she moved to New York City where she worked as a technician in Dr. Eva Hernando’s lab at NYU studying the role of DNA methylation in melanoma metastasis. She began the MSTP at Penn in 2018.
