Assistant Professor of Pharmacology
Dr. Joel Babdor is an assistant professor in the department of Systems Pharmacology and Translational Therapeutics at the University of Pennsylvania. He leads the Precision Immunology and Microbiome Medicine laboratory that aims at understanding immune health, through a multi-systems approach that explores the dialogue between the human immune system and the microbial exposome. The lab uses high-throughput, high-dimensional profiling approaches and multimodal computational methods to study clinical and animal model data. One of his long-term goal is to better define immune health and contribute to the development of precision microbiome-medicine therapies to improve immune interventions for patients.
