6th Year MD/PhD Student (Wherry Lab)

About Me

Matthew is a 6th-year MD/PhD student in E. John Wherry's lab, studying the biochemical, molecular, and genomic mechanisms by which key transcription factors epigenetically program CD8 T cell exhaustion. He is interested in continuing to integrate molecular mechanistic studies with synthetic biology and translational systems immunology approaches to design and deliver improved next-generation immunotherapies for human disease.
