Moni Shahar (PhD) holds first degrees in Mathematics, Physics and Computer Science, and holds a PhD in Electrical Engineering from Tel Aviv University. In the last 4 years he is the scientific manager of the Tel-Aviv University Center for AI and Data Science. Prior to that he has held a variety of algorithmic leadership positions in the high-tech industry for more than 25 years. His work spans a variety of areas including machine vision, NLP, algorithmic finance, machine learning and applied physics. Moni teaches in the Department of Statistics and has published over 30 scientific papers.
